How to care for your product:

Products made with carbon steel:

  • Many of our products are hand crafted from carbon steel. This means they have potential to rust without proper care. If your piece is made of carbon steel, keep it away from moisture and dirt. Make sure to oil it regularly with either gun oil or WD-40. If your piece gets exposed to moisture or dirt, simply wipe clean with a damp cloth and immediately apply a generous amount of your oil of choice.

  • If your piece has overlays, they may tarnish over time (especially copper or brass). If you notice your piece tarnishing, you can use a jewelry polishing cloth and rub vigorously across the overlay until it shines again. Do not use any chemicals to remove tarnish. This can remove any blueing from your piece or cause it to rust.

  • Our goal is to make our products beautiful as well as long lasting. Please avoid using excessive force on any small or moving parts.

Sterling Silver Jewelry:

  • Our jewelry is crafted with genuine stones and sterling silver. Although we use a variety of stones in our jewelry, the majority of our pieces are made with turquoise. Turquoise is a porous stone, which means it absorbs water easily. Please avoid introducing your piece to moisture and do not submerge in water. This could cause the stone to break or become discolored. Remove jewelry anytime you use chemicals or dyes as these can damage the stones as well. If your piece is not made with turquoise, these are still good care practices regardless of the stones used.

  • It is normal for sterling silver to patina overtime. We apply a chemical patina to our pieces before setting the stones and polishing to create contrast in the piece. If you notice your piece has become dark or discolored over time, simply use a jewelry polishing cloth and rub the piece until the discoloration is removed. Using chemicals or dyes can cause silver to become discolored, so avoid contact with them while wearing your jewelry.

  • If your piece becomes scratched, dull, or it patinas to the point where a polishing cloth cannot remove it we recommend sending it to a jeweler to be cleaned and polished.

  • If your piece gets dirty we recommend using a damp cloth with a small amount of dish soap on it to wipe clean.

  • Another helpful tip is the more you wear your sterling silver jewelry, the brighter it will be. Although regular wear may introduce bumps or scratches, the oils from your skin will actually keep it from developing patina as fast!
